Gold and silver had huge declines in price last week.  Looks like a good buying opportunity if you are accumulating.

Gmail and Privacy

A client suggested that I give my other clients a heads up about Gmail: "I noticed that when I checked your message on Google this morning there were six advertisements relating to IRA's and financial planning on the page with your email.  This means that Google must be filtering my emails for keywords and is placing targeted advertising on the page based on the contents of my emails, which I don't like--it seems like an invasion of privacy."

link  The dollar continues to be debased (to the extent that something with no intrinsic value can even be debased).  How?  Bernanke is making good on his promise to "drop money from helicopters" by monetizing bad mortgage loans (thus bailing out imprudent lenders) and now bailing out brokerage firms!
